Museum Swaensteyn and Huygens' Hofwijck organize a joint exhibition from 8 September to 2 December with the theme The Golden Age of the Vliet. Exhibition, presentation system, photography and a book have been realized by same-d for this project; a connection between our different disciplines.
same-d moves. From 1 July 2018 we settled on a new very special and monumental location. Our new address is Herenstraat 2, at the beginning of the Oosteinde in Voorburg and about 900 meters from the old location.

Villa Meijendel has been nominated for the Rijnlands Architectuur Prijs (RAP) 2017. Vote before May 28, 2017 at Villa Meijendel via www.rapleiden.nl/nominatie/villa-meijendel A special, contemporary villa is built in the dunes of Wassenaar. The design is by architect Ronald Knappers of VVKH architects from Leiden. same-d signed for the interior design.
9 and 10 September is the weekend of Open Monument Days. Our premises at Westeinde 43 in Voorburg opens her doors on Saturday 9 September from 10:00 to 17:00. The same-designed book Speech-making people in Voorburg's art can be bought again at the Westeinde, but also in the Martinus church at the Oostende.
In the context of 375 years Huygens 'Hofwijck, Peter van der Ploeg, CEO of Huygens' Hofwijck, maked the same trip as Constantijn Huygens to Venice together with a small team.
On the occasion of the publication of the book about Princess Marianne, the Museum De Vergulde Swaen of Zwijndrecht recently organized an exhibition. This small museum organizes a number of exhibitions each year with a group of volunteers. With very limited costs, same-d has designed, executed and hung the exhibition panels in the only space that the museum offers.
At Euroshop 2017 in Düsseldorf a new store system has been launched. SHOP CASE, the Flexible Plug & Play Store System is a ready-made shopping system, available in the standard module SO EASY "or custom" SO SPECIAL 'and can be ordered by the Internet (www.shop-case.nl).

The Huygens' Hofwijck book designed by same-d has won the Ithaka Award for the most fascinating story and beautifully designed book. This year the Ithaka committee awarded two prizes, one for the book with the most scientifically profound study and one for the most fascinating story and beautiful design.
The book Huygens' Hofwijck has been nominated for the Ithaca Price and subsidy. The book has been designed by same-d. The SKBL, the Foundation for Castles, Estates and Rural Places has created the Ithaca Prize and subsidy, as an incentive to stimulate a more binding and/or interdisciplinary research about Dutch castles, historic houses and estates.
10 and September 11 is the weekend of the Open Monuments Day. Our building at Westeinde 43 Voorburg opens its doors on Saturday September 10 from 10:00 to 17:00 hours. At 15.00 Kees van der Leer will give a lecture on the book Spraakmakende personen in Voorburgse prentkunst designed by same-d.
June 23 unveiled the logo for the Huygens Quarter Voorburg. Huygens Quarter Voorburg is the new name for the area around the historical center of Voorburg where Constantijn and Christiaan Huygens lived.
The exhibition Christiaan gazes ! is a collaboration between Huygens and Hofwijck Boerhaave Museum in Leiden. In addition to the original instruments of Boerhaave Hofwijck shows an original Van Leeuwenhoek microscope from the Collection Zuylen Burgh and manuscripts from the collection of the Leiden University.
